Students will explore interactive exhibits\, dive into hands-on learning\, and enjoy a dazzling planetarium show. \n🗓 Schedule of Events: \n10:00 am – 1:15 pm: Explore the museum and enjoy lunch on your own. \n10:30 am & 12:00 pm: Two Learning Lab Sessions – Building the Future (24 students per session). \n1:15 pm: Meet at the Planetarium. \n1:30 pm: Planetarium Show. \n2:00 pm+: Wrap-up with SFLHRC; however\, you can stay until closing! \n🔬 Learning Lab – Building the Future \nStudents will step into the role of engineers in this 45-minute\, hands-on learning experience. During this program\, the students will get to gently touch most of the animals that are brought while also learning about the habitats and adaptations specific to each animal. After the presentation\, students will get to take a tour of the facility. \n** \nAdmission for the first 20 kids and chaperones will be FREE courtesy of Outschool! \nIf you would like to attend but aren’t one of the first 20\, admission rates are $9.50/student and $5/chaperone. This event is first come\, first serve so it’s recommended to arrive a little early. \nLindsay will be present before and after the event to answer any questions about Outschool\, using FES/PEP funding with Outschool and with some coupons and raffles for attendees! \nHope to see you there!
