DESCRIPTION:The TGH Ice Plex Skating School is a member of the Ice Sports Industry (ISI). We model our Skating School program from this nationally recognized recreational based skating program. Each class level teaches skills that continually build upon the skills that were achieved in the previous level. It is very important to learn the basic skills so that a skater has a strong foundation to keep progressing forward. A successful completion of each class level may take more than one 8-week session. Each class is 30 minutes of instructional lesson and 15 minutes of practice time. To use Step Up direct billing\, look us up in EMA under “Steliosandmichelleart” and put in for an 8 week session for each student. Once you put in for the session through EMA\, we will email you to gather the rest of the details and schedule your student. (Step Up does not need to register through this website. \nChildren ages 5-9 will learn techniques in hand-building\, creating guided projects each week. Students will build\, trim and glaze their projects\, learning the many skills needed for building sculptures with clay. Students may also work with their own hand-building project ideas. Instructors\, Michelle and Stelios will guide students toward incremental growth in handbuilding. Students must be ten years old to learn how to use an electric pottery wheel. \nTweens and Teens ages 10-17 will learn pottery wheel basics\, building upon their knowledge from week to week. Students will learn the basics of throwing\, trimming\, handbuilding and glazing. This class works as an independent study\, and instructors Michelle and Stelios will work with students towards their own personal growth. Classes are held every week at 12921 cox lane trl Thonotosassa Fl and focus on teaching students the fundamentals of blacksmithing— going beyond simply completing a project to developing the actual skills\, techniques\, and mindset essential to the craft. \nThe class is open to all ages and is a great fit for adults\, teens\, and homeschoolers looking for a hands-on\, skill-based experience. \nWhat’s Included \nFor $200/month\, students receive: \n    • Weekly instruction with a Master Blacksmith \n    • Full access to forge equipment and tools \n    • All basic materials for skill-building and practice \n    • Safety equipment provided \n    • A small-group setting for personal guidance and a growing community \nHow It Works \nFor the first several of sessions\, students focus on building a strong foundation: learning proper forging technique\, heat control\, safety\, and shop awareness. Once a student is confident and ready\, they’ll gain access to a project menu with beginner\, intermediate\, and advanced items. \nEach project comes with a separate materials cost. Students choose their project based on their current skill level and pay only for the materials needed to complete it. These projects are completed during regular Wednesday class time with continued guidance and feedback. DESCRIPTION:Anclote Pottery Spring Classes \nHomeschool Clay Classes for Children\, Tweens and Teens: \nWe are providers for Step Up! To use Step Up direct billing\, look us up in EMA under “Steliosandmichelleart” and put in for an 8 week session for each student. Once you put in for the session through EMA\, we will email you to gather the rest of the details and schedule your student. (Step Up does not need to register through this website. \nChildren ages 5-9 will learn techniques in hand-building\, creating guided projects each week. Students will build\, trim and glaze their projects\, learning the many skills needed for building sculptures with clay. Students may also work with their own hand-building project ideas. Instructors\, Michelle and Stelios will guide students toward incremental growth in handbuilding. Students must be ten years old to learn how to use an electric pottery wheel. \nTweens and Teens ages 10-17 will learn pottery wheel basics\, building upon their knowledge from week to week. Students will learn the basics of throwing\, trimming\, handbuilding and glazing. This class works as an independent study\, and instructors Michelle and Stelios will work with students towards their own personal growth. There is room for only six pottery wheel students in this class\, and each is guaranteed their own dedicated wheel. \nAdults may register with their child in any of the evening classes. You will just need register for a session for yourself as well! Adults will have their own dedicated pottery wheel\, and will have the opportunity to toggle between hand building and throwing on a pottery wheel.
