No one under the age of 7 or on crutches is allowed in the manufacturing facility due to safety concerns. If someone is on crutches\, we require they use a wheelchair with an assistant. \nPhysical address: 3045 New Tampa Hwy\, Lakeland\, 33815 \nEnter through Gate #9 (under the Publix Birthday Cake Water Tower) \nThe security guard will be expecting your group identified as Tampa Bay HEAT homeschool group \nPark in front of Building 18 Dairy Processing and come to the entrance in the brown glass section of the facility. \nThe Publix representative will meet you in the lobby. \nOnly 4.2 miles east of us is Bonnett Springs Park\, a popular picnic lunch destination for our student groups. DESCRIPTION:10/15/2026 – 10/15/2026 \nOld McMicky’s Farm \n10:30 AM – 1:00 PM \nOld McMicky’s Farm \nField Trips \nWe will all meet at the entrance to check in and then proceed with our tour. \nTour takes 1.5-2 hours\, so will finish the tour around 12 or 12:30\, and then you can enjoy lunch by the lake) \nJoin us for a fun day at Old McMicky’s farm! \nChildren will have the opportunity to milk a cow\, ride a pony\, catch chickens\, see rabbits\, goats\, a maze\, and the baby animal barn! \nThis is an outdoor event with animals\, and closed-toe shoes are recommended. \nDue to the fact that this is a guided tour\, there is no free roaming about the farm for anyone. This includes before and after your guided tour. \nWe are stroller-friendly\, so please feel free to bring children of all ages! \nEat Lunch by the Lake: Bring your lunch and eat under the shaded oak tree picnic area overlooking our pristine lake. \nSnack Stand: Our General Store has snacks\, drinks\, and other merchandise for sale.
