Thursday 9:15 -10:00 AM \nBallet II: Ballet for ages 10 and older\, or according to ability. Thursday 10:00- 11:00 AM \nJazz I: Jazz for ages 8 and older\, or according to ability. Thursday 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM \nBeginner Pointe: Beginner Pointe for level II. Two ballet classes a week are required in addition to pointe. Selah Academy hopes to build each student’s dance technique as well as character. We believe as strongly in the power of a great dance education as we do about creating beautiful\, loving and strong students. Selah teaches students the fundamentals of dance\, body alignment and terminology\, with focus on ballet and modern dance education. Classes harbor a fun and encouraging atmosphere to help build confidence\, learn teamwork\, grace and develop dance technique. We offer ballet\, modern\, jazz\, tap and pointe classes all during the day\, specifically gearing these classes to homeschooled students. \nSelah Academy is proud to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum\, a breakthrough 9-level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate\, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels. \nWe offer classes Monday-Friday.
