YEA Homeschool Program- Cellular Celebrations

Students will explore the structure and function of plant and animal cells through observation, comparison, and modeling activities.

By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

1. Identify basic cell parts (organelles) and their functions.

2. Compare plant and animal cell structures using observations and drawings.

3. Model how a cell functions by comparing it to parts of a home.

4. Explain how structure relates to function within both plant and animal cells.

5. Demonstrate understanding through matching, drawing, and storytelling
