HomeSTEAM Heroes is a monthly, hands-on STEAM workshop designed especially for homeschool students ages 4–14, held at Palm Harbor Parks & Recreation on the first Friday of each month from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM.
Each workshop will combine engaging, hands-on science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics activities with literacy-based learning, creativity and fun. Each workshop features a literacy connection, STEAM Exploration, a Make-and-Take project and a fun special theme! This is where ordinary kids will do extraordinary things and form new friendships too! Direct provider of Step Up for students.
March 6: Nature of Science: Mini-Greenhouses, Soil Jars & Plant Dissections.
April 3: Earth Day Adventures: Nature Inspired STEAM.
May 1: Ocean Explorers: Marine Biology & Animal Sciences.
